I grew up in Africa and the Lake District and spent most of my time drawing, making intricate plasticine models or scrambling about outside making dens and generally getting dirty with my sister and brother. Now, as an adult, not much has changed though I don't use plasticine or make dens but I still love to be outside whether gardening with my cats, walking with my family and friends or sailing with my husband.
